Jacques Lob

Jacques Lob , born in Paris the August 19th 1932 and deceased with Castle-Thierry the May 24th 1990, is an author of cartoon French.

He is initially draftsman of humor, but Jean-Michel Charlier advises to him to give up the drawing and to concentrate on the occupation of scenario writer. Jacques Lob then provides scenarios to several authors such as Jean-Claude Mézières, Joel Azara, Jijé, Druillet then Georges Pichard (Submerman, Blanche Epiphany, Ténébrax, Ulysses) and Robert Gigi.

Jacques Lob collaborated inter alia in Linus, V Magazine, Métal Howling, the Echo of Savannas, Icy Fluide and (TO BE FOLLOWED). Its most famous work is undoubtedly Transperceneige , started with the author Alexis, who dies prematurely, then taken again with Jean-Marc Rochette (Price Testimony Christian 1985).

Jacques Lob is prize winner of the Grand Prix of the Town of Angouleme 1986.
