Jacques Legendre

Jacques Legendre is a Politician French, born the December 2nd 1941 in Paris. He is qualified schoolteacher.

He is elected appointed UDR/RPR into 1973,1978 and 1986.

He is Secretary of State near the Minister for Labor in the Gouvernement Raymond Barre (2) of the March 29th 1977 with the March 31st 1978 then Secretary of State near and participation the Minister for Labor of the April 2nd 1978 in the October 2nd 1980, and finally Secretary of State auprès Prime Minister (professional training) for the October 2nd 1980 with the May 13rd 1981 in the Gouvernement Raymond Barre (3)

He was mayor of Cambrai, is currently president of the Communauté of Cambric agglomeration. He is always city council man Cambric.

He was elected senator of the Northern the September 27th 1992, and was re-elected the September 23rd 2001. He currently sits in the group UMP.

He is general secretary of the APF (parliamentary Assemblée of the Francophonie), organization which he developed considerably. He is militant keen French-speaking cause.
