Jacques Leclerc (linguist)

Jacques Leclerc is a Linguiste, a Sociolinguiste and a professor Québécois. He is a specialist on linguistic installation in the world.
Having obtained its diploma with the University of Montreal, he taught at this university like with the college Wood-of-Boulogne and the Université Laval.
Researcher for the Québécois Office of the French language, it publishes several works and articles on the Politique linguistics with the Presses of the University Laval and at Mondia Éditeur.
Leclerc was also interested in the Histoire of French, the Histoire of English and with the legislations relating to the language in North America.
It received the assistance of the linguists Claude Poirier, Jacques Maurais and François Gauthier. Its work is framed by the Trésor of the French language in Quebec (TLFQ).
