Managing director of the French federation of Football (FF) since 2005, Jacques Lambert led a professional path to double facet.
Former student of the ENA (Guernica promotion, 1974-1976), it occupied during 17 years of the functions of responsibility in the public office for State: sub-prefect in Blois, in Saint-Etienne, in French Polynesia, principal private secretary of the General secretary of the Government to the Matignon Hotel, Prefect of Nievre, Prefect of Savoy. During this period, he was also the close relation collaboratuer of two Prime Ministers: Pierre Mauroy, as a Pierre Bérégovoy and principal private secretary, as an adviser for the internal security and the information.
During the second phase of his professional life, Jacques Lambert develops an original expertise of organizer of international sporting great events. In its function of Prefect of Savoy, it with the responsibility to coordinate the intervention of the services of the State in the preparation of the Winter Olympics of Albertville (1992), and to conceive and direct the whole of the safety device in particular. In 1993, it takes the direction of the Steering Committee of the Football world cup France 98. Near Michel Platini and late Fernand Sastre, it joins together a young and general-purpose team, whose manpower will culminate with 700 paid and 12.000 volunteers during the event, which will set up an organization unanimously recognized for its effectiveness and its quality.
The shortly after the World cup, Jacques Lambert joined for five years the group Suez-Lyons of Water in the capacity as delegate president to the commercial action and managing director of Suez Industrial Solutions, subsidiary company dedicated to the industrial great projects of the group.
In 2004, it returns to the sport, initially as President and Chief Executive Officer of iSe-Hospitality AG, society based to Switzerland and Germany, load of the design and marketing, on behalf of the International federation of Football (FIFA), of the operations of hospitality (cabins, business seats, villages of hospitality) of the World cup 2006 in Germany. In April 2005, at the request of Jean-Pierre Escalettes, lately elected President of the FF, it takes the head office of the first sporting federation of France (2,3 million bachelors; 180 paid; 150 M € of budget).
