Jacques Lagrange (October 25th 1934 -…) is or was Photographe, Reporter, Journaliste (business card n°21657), town councilor, Historien, Publiciste, editor in Périgord.
Biography
Jacques Lagrange was born with Périgueux (the Dordogne) parents périgordins, in the medium of the railroads (the SNCF).
In 1953, it prepares the National school of photography and cinematography (ENPC-Vaugirard) when the newspaper Southern West engages it as press photographer for the agency of Périgueux. It remains at this station until in 1967, date on which it enters to ORTF (Aquitaine television) that it leaves in 1972.
Father of four children, it also takes part in commercial businesses exerted in family.
The minister Yves Guéna, who took the town hall of Périgueux, proposes to him to be his assistant in charge of the restoration of the safeguarded district of the city, which it will be during eighteen years (1971 - 1989).
At the end of these mandates, the journalist publishes a resounding investigation: “Of the crime of Escoire to the Wages of the fear”, then a basic study: “1944 in the Dordogne”.
At the same time, it creates the company Pilote 24 edition, then supports its diploma of the second cycle in front of the university of Bordeaux (Institute of History) on the daily life in Périgord under the second Empire.
Daily chronicler with France Blue Périgord, of 1996 with 2001, it is called in political consultation by Aqui TV and history by FR3 and France Culture.
During twenty years (1985 - 2005), it manages as director of the publications, the historical and archaeological Société of Périgord in the Bulletin of which it signs many historical communications, archaeological and local memories.
It is one of the mainteneurs of the epopee of Orélie- Antoine de Tounens, king d' Araucanie and of Patagonie (1860 - 1878), originating in the Périgord.
In 2000, the newspaper Southern West places it among the hundred 50 last years most re-elected personalities to the Dordogne.
Money medal of Youth and the Sports (1973), he is commander of the National order of the Merit (2000). Appear in Who' S who in the world (1998).
