Jacques Herbillon
Jacques Herbillon is a Baryton French born with Rheims the May 20th 1936 and deceased in the same city Friday May 16th 2003, little time before its 67e birthday.
It makes its studies with the Conservatoire of Rheims, the teacher training school of music of Paris with Gabrielle Gills, and with the Conservatoire of music of Geneva with Pierre Mollet. It receives the Grand Prix Gabriel Fauré as well as the Price of the international Concours of Geneva.
Large specialist in Gabriel Fauré, it undertakes, as from 1961, of many rounds in concerts and recital under the aegis of the musical Jeunesses of France. He occurs on the international scene in many operas of room and also takes part in many creations.
He recorded melodies of Fauré with the Rumanian pianist Theodore Paraskivesco, of which the good song and the chimerical Horizon and also an album of melodies of Ravel including the cycle Don Quichotte in Dulcinée ; these two discs appeared on the Calliope label.
