Jacques François

Jacques François (Paris the May 16th 1920 - Paris the November 25th 2003) is a French actor who illustrated itself by charismatic supporting roles. He incarnated with the screen of many characters ties, ministers, lawyers or business men.

Its career starts in the Années 1940 with some roles in Hollywoodiens films, as Entrons the dance (1949) or Sorcerer ( the Convoy of the fear in French). it follows then a period when it is devoted more to the Théâtre successfully. It joins again with the cinema as of the beginning of the Années 1970. The diversity of its appearances to the cinema lies more in the variety of films than of the austere characters than it represents, of the ridiculous chairman in Everyone it is beautiful, everyone it is nice (1972), to the pharmacist coleric of the Father Christmas is a refuse (1982). It is illustrated in many comic films, like the Gendarme and the gendarmettes (1982), Papy made of resistance (1983) or visitors 2 (1998).
