Jacques Faure
Jacques Faure is an officer and sporting French. There remains one of the great personalities of the Alpine hunters.

Jacques Faure is member (even chief) of the military team of France of Ski to the Winter Olympics of 1936.
- In 1939-1940, he is chief as of ITS (section of scout-skiers of Alpine hunters), attached to the staff of the general Antoine Béthouart with Narvik (Norway).
- After the Armistice of June 22nd, 1940, the task force with Narvik returns to France. While passing by London, the captain Jacques Faure meets the Général de Gaulle but prefers all the same to regain the metropolis.
- In France, it is one of the founders of Jeunesse and mountain, the building site of youth of the Air force.
- With the autumn 1944, he is lieutenant-colonel, ordering the 1st regiment of hunters parachutists (1st CCP) to the combat in the Vosges.
