Jacques Ertaud
Jacques Ertaud (born the November 18th 1924 with Paris, dead on November 18th 1995 in Paris) is a scenario writer, an explorer and a sportsman French.
Biography
Having lost his very young father, Jacques (known as Jackie) Ertaud became a little the godson of the speleologist Raymond Gaché. After the Second world war (Ertaud engages at the end of the war), Marcel Ichac, old friend of Raymond Gaché since the Groupe of Bleau, initiates Ertaud with the Cinéma. Ertaud begin with tasks from post-production from the film Tempête on the Alps in 1945. Jacques Ertaud will explain: “Marcel Ichac was my Master. It is with him that I began in the trade in September 1945… soon 50 years. He very learned to me: the catch of sight, the assembly, the sound recording, the writing of a film, the choice of the musics. He was a true craftsman, with large has, able to entirely make a film without the assistance of anybody. It was for me a marvellous school. All the films which I could make since (nearly a hundred), documentary or fictions, take as a starting point what " Matha" taught me during the eight years when I be likely to be its assistant. ” ( Good-bye Matha , Jacques Ertaud, Mountain Magazine , n°171, June? 1994).
