Jacques Dutronc

Jacques Dutronc , born the April 28th 1943 with Paris, is a singer, type-setter and actor French.

It made its studies at the elementary school of the street Blanche and the Lycée Condorcet in Paris.

He married the March 30th 1981 the singer Francoise Hardy with whom he lived since 1967. Their son Thomas takes part from now on in the design of their discs.

He is impassioned by the collection of the knives, of which he has more than 500 rare parts.

He saw in Corsica on the heights of Monticello, surrounded by his 30 cats.

Course

Jacques Dutronc took part at the beginning of the time Yéyé with a group which did not have a following day, El Toro and the Cyclones . On the musical level, in fact certainly the years 1960 will remain like the most interesting period of the work of Dutronc. In 1966 its first album, left to Vogue, is a master stroke. Dutronc which claims to be become singer “  by hasard  ”, proves to be an interpreter but also a type-setter of talent. It seizes the air of time and its compositions equalize what at the time is done best as regards rock'n'roll. How not to think of Kinks or Stones with the listening of the girl of the Father Christmas and his basic front (held by Hadi Khalafate, friend of childhood of Jacques, already member of El Toro. ) or by listening to And Me and Me and Me which hung the listeners instantaneously… Guitarist and amateur of jazz manouche, Dutronc is also directed, in other compositions, towards a repertory which is tinted by it. Years 1970 are, on the other hand, less interesting and Dutronc seems to be blown after the great successes of the sixties.
