Jacques Doniol-Valcroze

Jacques Doniol-Valcroze is a realizer, actor and scenario writer French (Paris, March 15th 1920 - Cannes, October 6th 1989).

Biography

After a career of journalist and critic of Cinema, in 1951, it founded the Books of the cinema with André Bazin, then it was directed towards the realization of films with caustic tonality, except for its last the House of the bories , romantic.

It turned also much as an actor on television after having made his first weapons with the cinema (it holds the main role like that of the narrator in the Beautiful age of Pierre Kast).
