Jacques Cruquius
Jacques Cruquius or Jacques de Crucque , Flemish philologist of second half of the sixteenth siècle.
He is the author, in particular, of a complete edition of Horace, with notes and comments (Antwerp, 1578). He had used for this edition several manuscripts which were with the monastery Benedictine of Saint-Pierre-with-Mount-Blandin, in Ghent, and which perished in a fire of this monastery.
