Jacques Clement

Jacques Clément (1567 - 1589) is a monk Dominicain who assassinated the king Henri III the 1589.

It was born with Serbonnes in 1567. Fanatic monk, it takes the party of the catholic Ligue, with the idea “ to kill all the heretics ”. He would at that time have created celebrates it Anagramme “It is the hell which created me” starting from the letters of its name brother Jacques Clément ( I and J being comparable). Perhaps handled by the duchess of Montpensier, it leaves Paris on July 31st, 1589 to join Saint-Cloud from where the king orders the seat of Paris.
