Jacques Charlier is a Artiste self-educated born with Liege in 1939.

Biography

To survive, it will be employed in turn at the provincial engineering service of Liege during 20 years, and professor of graphics to the academy of Liege, during 22 years.

It uses the support and the style according to the idea. Its multi-field approach pushes it towards fields as varied as Peinture, Photographie, Vidéo, Musique, texts, Sculpture, installation, data base, Philatélie, Publicité, event, articles of press. Artist of avant-garde, it calls the world of art in question in many works.

Jacques Charlier takes part in many personal and collective exposures both in Belgium and abroad. He is present in the collections of museums of modern art Belgian of (Antwerp, of Brussels, Ghent, Ostend, the French Communauté of Belgium) and French (BULK: The Champagne-Ardennes, Ile de France, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Country of the Loire) like to the museum of modern art of Luxembourg. He is also the author of an integration in the architecture of the CHU of Liege whose architect is Charles Vandenhove.

Currently J.CH works on several projects of directional roundabouts.
