Jacques Chailley
Jacques Chailley is a Musicologue and Compositeur French born with Paris the March 24th 1910, died with Montpellier the January 21st 1999.
He was general secretary (1937) then sub-manager (1941) of the Conservatoire of Paris, where he also has an overall class vocal. In 1952 it is appointed professor of Histoire of the music to the Sorbonne then general inspector of the music to the Minister of education main road.
