Jacques Brunel

Jacques Brunel is a former player of Rugby to XV, reconverted as a trainer.

He was born the January 14th 1954 with Courrensan (Gers). He began his career as player with FC Grenoble, the US Carcassonne and FC Auch. He plays during twelve years with Auch before involving this club of 1988 with 1995.

He continues his career of trainer with the US Colomiers of 1995 with 1999, then with the Section paloise before being appointed assistant trainer of the team of France of Rugby to XV, charged with the fronts. At this station, he is assistant of Bernard Laporte until the World cup of Rugby to XV 2007. He continues his career of trainer to the USAP, of which he becomes the General Manager, with dimensions of Bernard Goutta, the 3rd line and Catalan captain who puts an end to his career of player the same year to involve the fronts and thus to assist.
