Jacques Boullaire (1893-1976) is a French draftsman and painter

Born with Paris the December 23rd 1893 from a family originating in Champagne, Norman by his/her mother, Jacques Boullaire is well quickly wearied to deal with the Publicité cars of his/her brother-in-law the industrialist Louis Renault (1877-1944), who married his sister Christiane Boullaire (? - 1979), on September 26th, 1918. Raise Guy Arnoux and of Dimitrios Galanis, if it starts to engrave on wood in 1926, its first gravers were produced only ten years later. It exposes to the Salon of Tileries starting from 1926, with the Salon of Independent the of 1927 with 1945, then with the Salon of autumn as from 1928. It becomes invited thereafter and exposing not member of the Société of Original Engraving on Wood (S.G.B.O.), and organizes particular exposures of its works… It illustrated many works of engravings ( wood, gravers, drypoints, etchings, lithographies )… In 1959, Jacques Boullaire, former photographer of aviation, become official painter of the Navy. He dies in Paris the October 3rd 1976.
