Jacques Blanc , born the October 21st 1939, is a Politician French, doctor neuropsychiatrist. Member of the UDF, then of the UMP as of its creation in 2002.

Its presidency of the area of 1986 to 2004 was marked by many oppositions against Georges Frêche, then mayor of Montpellier which it beat in 1998 thanks to the support of the voices of the elected officials of the National front, in spite of a number of elected officials lower than those of the PS.
