Jacques Ballet
Jacques Ballet , born on February 19th, 1908 with Neufchâteau and deceased on November 5th, 2000 with Neuilly-sur-Seine, is an engineer, aviator and resistant French.
It is, as of November 1940, with Maurice Ripoche and Henri Pascal, one of the founders of the resistance movement " Those of the Release " (CDLL) and of the COMAC.
Sought by the Gestapo, he escapes on January 9th, 1943 by the Spain and, on April 4th, 1943, he engages in the free French Forces with Gibraltar.
Like observer with the Lorraine , it achieves 66 missions of bombardment.
Jacques Ballet was vice-president of the Association of the French Free S, of Friendly of the free French Air forces and the Company of Mutual aid of the Compagnons of the Release, of the " Friendships of the Resistance " and of the Committee of the Flame under the Triumphal arch.
