Jacques Baguet
Jacques Baguet is a Saxophoniste French born the March 13rd 1963 with Clermont-Ferrand.
Beginning of the musical studies (1973) with the council school (and brass band " the friends réunis") of Montceau-the-Mines, then to the academy of Dijon (1977-1981) with Jean Arnoult (saxophone), Maurice Clerk (musical formation), it enters to the Conservatoire of Paris (1982-1984) classes of: Daniel Deffayet (saxophone), Lucie Robert (musical formation), Pierre-max Dubois (analyzes), Guy Dangain (deciphering). He is member of the Quatuor Adolphe Sax of Paris to the Saxophone Baritone of 1981 to 1986 then Quartet of saxophone of Burgundy (S. Berthommé, P. Meunier, P. Simonet, Baguet), Quatuor Artsax (S. Berthmmé, D. Jean, Jean-Charles Richard, Baguet). He plays with the Ensemble Intercontemporain under the direction of Pierre Boulez, David Robertson, Denis Cohen, Jens MacManama of 1991 to 1996 and various French whole of modern music: Short-circuit, Alternation, Unit F, Together the Route. He plays under the direction of Luciano Berio during this period (French creation of Canticum Novicimi Testamenti , creation with the Scala of Milan of the opera Outis ) will vera It storia in 1982 with the Opéra of Paris (Garnier). He takes part in the creation of the Cyclops of Betsy Jolas in July 1986 with the festival of Avignon. He interprets of works of Marc Monnet, the Circus (Low Saxophone version), Duel with the research of the Hymn of Gerard Garcin for whole of 12 Saxophones and chorus of saxophones, God and 2 make 4 from Gerard Garcin for barrel organ (Christian Bigaud) and two sax (with Sophie Berthommé), or Sap of Jean-Pierre Leguay with the meetings saxophonists type-setters of Boulogne-Billancourt (1983). It meets François Jeanneau at the time of the first training course of ONJ in September 1987. It organizes the first concert, on October 16th, 2005, of Soundpainting to Mâcon given by François Jeanneau and of the trainees of the ENMD of Mâconnais Val of the Saone.
Since 1993, it studies the classical music of India of north (with the Sitar) with Patrick Moutal.
It directs a Bigband of Jazz to the academy of the Mâcon are born Val from the Saone (CAMVAL) where it is titular class of professor of saxophones.
