Jacques Autreau
Jacques Autreau (Paris, 1656-1745) is a French painter and poet.
Having known little success in its career, Autreau was a misanthropist who carried out a difficult existence and finished his days at the Hospital of the Incurable ones.
It is known to have sold with Jean-Philippe Rameau the rights on the booklet of Platée that this one was going to make alter before putting it in music.
