Jacques-Marie Huvé
Jean Jacques-Marie Huvé is a neo-classic Architecte French born with Versailles the April 28th 1783 and died in 1852.
Biography
Wire of the architect Jean-Jacques Huvé, he was the pupil of his father as well as Charles Percier and Pierre-François-Léonard Fontaine.Named supervising work of the church of the Madeleine in 1808, it was charged, with the death of the architect Pierre-Alexandre Vignon in 1828, to continue construction. With determination and tenacity, he managed to obtain Government the required funds to complete the work, which was completed in 1842.
Architect of the administration of the Stations, he was member of the Institut of France (Académie of the Art schools, section of architecture) and chair Company of the Art schools.
It formed in its workshop celebrates it architect Eugene Purple-the-Duke. With the School of the Art schools, he was the professor in particular of Gustave Guerin and Charles Laisné.
He had a son, Felix Huvé, who was mayor of Sanded.
