Jacqueline Thome-Patenôtre

Jacqueline Thome-Patenôtre is a political woman French, born the February 3rd 1906 with Paris, deceased the June 2nd 1995 with Rambouillet (Yvelines).

She was in particular mayor of Rambouillet of 1947 to 1983. She took part as an under-secretary of State in the Rebuilding and Housing in the Gouvernement Maurice Bourges-Maunoury in 1957. Member of the Left radical socialist, it was also president of the Rassemblement of the republican women (RFR), organization related to the Rassemblement of the Republican lefts.

Jacqueline Thome-Patenôtre was the girl of Andre Thome, who was also appointed and mayor of Rambouillet. She married in 1939 Raymond Patenôtre, which was Minister for the Nation's economy in 1932-1933.

She was also one of the first women members of the High committee of the Sports.

  • Appointed Seine-et-Oise, then of Yvelines, 1958 to 1978,
  • Appointed European, of 1984 to 1989,
  • Vice-president of the National Assembly, 1960 to 1968.
