Jacqueline Joubert
Jacqueline Joubert , of her true name Jacqueline Annette Edith Pierre (March 29th 1921 with Paris - January 8th 2005 with Neuilly-sur-Seine) was a presenter and producing of French, known television to have been one of the first two announcers with Arlette Accart.
She was married with the journalist Georges de Caunes, she is the mother of Antoine de Caunes and the grandmother of the actress Emma de Caunes. She had also been the wife of Philippe Lagier.
Career
Actress of Theater, it had entered to the public television (French Broadcasting-television) on contest in 1949. She presents to it the programs for the first time the May 25th.As a announcer , it must announce the programs to come and make have patience the televiewers in the event of technical breakdown (until the Années 1960).
In 1959 and 1961, it presents since Cannes, the Concours Eurovision of the Song.
Leaving this role, it creates in 1961 Rendez-vous with… which accommodates known singers and also of young talents of the French song. In 1966, it becomes producing and director mainly of variety programmes and, during the Années 1970 and 1980, it directs the intended programs to youth. It is in this role that she discovers and launches stimulating the Dorothée ( Récré A2 ) and the Cartoon Japan board Goldorak which she really did not appreciate, acknowledged she later. But, coldly betrayed by the latter, who flees on TF1 hardly privatized, she proposes magic Le Monde with Chantal Goya in 1988 as an engine for Récré A2 . These emissions end with its resignation of the unit of the programs youth of Antenne 2 at the end of this same season.
