Description of the spectacle

Live Jacobus and Maleco in it is an attack of images and sounds which nourishes electricity of crowd to improvise an energy which forces to react and to move. The sound engaging, contemporary and electronics of the group are visual by the nature of rep. the loops vidéos and visual projections which accompany the spectacle are musical by their rates/rhythms organic and evolving/moving. The whole mixes naturally to deliver a standard experiment of the 21st century which does not leave anybody indifferent. The experiment of rythmée poetry media that is a spectacle of Jacobus and Maleco is a product in constant evolution which represents the vitality of the acadian culture seen from a contemporary point of view.

Description of the members

Jacobus

Animal of scene and poet in the heart which looks at 22 films per day, Jacobus communicates by the music what enters to him the head and that it cannot express differently. It spits of contemporary poetry like a fountain since its studies at the secondary school. Its phonetic abstract texts which represent the whole of nothing and anything the whole, makes travel the ear-phones of an idea to another like an air line. An untiring follower of freestyle, his texts are “hammers worse nails like than there pogne at your head”.

Maleco

An amateur of the rap since the 6 years age, useless to say to you that Maleco (alias Marc Comeau) follows the evolution of the new musics like a true avant-gardist. He is fascinated by people who push the musical and different limits. “I like the beautiful life! ” Its experiments passed in music cajun, theater and administration of the businesses ( alias the grousse works hard) make the richness of the group. Maleco it is the animal with horn which can bring the festival to the next level and the next level to the festival.

Alexandre Bilodeau

Fascinated by the electronic musics coming from edge in edge of planet, Leks (alias Alexandre Bilodeau) has created electronic music for 8 years. It is producteur/DJ of Jacobus and Maleco, but in particular the source of the terms Walla walla and Hip-hype. Some require of him what it thinks of all this, it answers them with happy hypnotizing which makes forget their questions.

Timo

Rappor since more than 10 years and brasseux of good time since good longer. Timo (alias Timothée Valentine Jesus Richard) started to yawn the air with Jacobus and Maleco since it jumped on the scene during one their spectacles to Osmosis in 2005. Since, it became integral part of the unit and continuously brings its energy of poet/extraterrestrial acrobat everywhere where the group occurs. “If one could sell of Timo out of bottle, one would have the life of made. ”
