Jacob van Zuylen van Nijevelt
Jacob Pieter Pompejus baron van Zuylen van Nijevelt , born with Dordrecht on June 29th, 1816 and died in $the Hague on November 4th, 1890 was a Noble Gueldre and politician of the Netherlands. Initially, Van Zuylen van Nijevelt was in favor of Thorbecke and Foreign Minister in his first Gouvernement. After its third marriage in 1857, with one of the girls of old the President of the Council Jan Jacob Rochussen, it became more preserving, primarily under the influence of his/her father-in-law.
In 1861, during a few months only, he was President of the Council itself. After he was member of the Lower House and political leader of the Zuylianen , grouping which acted against the liberals and the anti-revolutionists. Later, it was representing of the Netherlands with Paris, and to a advanced age, member of the Sénat.
