Jaclyn Linetsky

Jaclyn Linetsky (January 8th 1986 - September 8th 2003) is a Canadian actress . She was born and grew with Montreal and lived in her suburbs with Hampstead.

She interpreted the voice of the character titrates in the english language version of the very popular series animated for young children Caillou of 2000 to 2002. She also lent her voice to Bitzi in 2002 in the animated series Daft Planet like with Meg in the series Mega Babies .

She finished first of her graduation in 2003 of the school St George High School of Montreal.

In 2003, it obtained the first feminine role in the telesery 15/Love, in the world of the Tennis, designed to be presented on the waves of YTV ( Youth TeleVision ) in English, and under the title of Match! French with Radio-Canada. Its character, Megan O' Connor, maintained an love affair with Sebastien Dubé, known like The French Prince (" The prince français"), the character of the Co-high-speed motorboat of the series, Vadim Schneider.

September 8th, 2003, Jaclyn and Vadim Schneider, whereas they went by car to the plate of 15/Love , struck a trailer truck. Vadim Schneider was ejected vehicle during the collision and died on the blow. During its transport at the hospital, Jaclyn succumbed to its wounds. They were 17 years old.

This news was a shock as well for the young amateurs of the series as for the production line team, the young actors being extremely appreciated. With the agreement of the families, it was decided to continue the production by integrating in the history the disappearance of the two characters, and to make " of it; a celebration of the life as much as a homage to the memory from these two attaching comédiens." A song, entitled Symphonic made up in their honor and was integrated (Source: Radio-Canada, to see bond below).

Two foundations were created on their behalf to pile up funds for caritative works: The Jaclyn Linetsky Fund Memorial - Foundation For the children only and Funds Vadim Schneider - Development funds of the College Jean-with-Brébeuf .
