Jackie Sardou (of its true name Jacqueline Labbé, known as Jackie Rollin, known as Jackie Sardou) is a French actress born the April 7th 1919 with Paris and died the April 2nd 1998 in Paris.
Épouse of the actor and singer Fernand Sardou, mother of the singer Michel Sardou, grandmother of the novelist Romain Sardou, girl of Andree Labbé, known as Trifle , a dancer in the concert Mayol and squares cancan with the Moulin-Rouge (unknown father). Truculent actress, Jackie Sardou was one of the pillars of the Light comedies: in end of a career, she triumphs with the Théâtre in " The clan of the veuves" (1990 to 1993) of Ginette Beauvais-Garcin with Ginette Garcin and Mony Dalmès.

Biography

Born in an attic from the “ Concert Mayol ” where his/her mother Andrée Labbé known as Bagatelle is dancer, at 16 years, it replaces with the foot raised a dancer in a spectacle in which takes part his/her mother and Fernard Sardou that it marries (July 7th, 1945) and gives rise to Michel Sardou (January 25th 1947). It occupies the scene of the “Liberty' S” during 10 years. Under the name of Jackie Rollin, it connects the cabarets, the operettas and turnings… the race with the seals: it makes its 1st film in 1948 with Fernand Sardou entitled “If that can give you pleasure” Jacques Daniel-Norman with Fernandel.

Until 1976, date of died of her husband Fernand Sardou, Jackie Sardou carries out its theatrical and cinematographic career under the name of Jackie Rollin in a succession of roles of good gouailleuse woman with a cut in the Sixties during which the Sardou husbands direct a cabaret “At Fernand Sardou” (1960-1965).

In spite of its liveliness and its gouaille, Jackie Sardou will not obtain great roles with the cinema. Jackie Sardou really appeared during the twenty last years of its life: on television (in plays like " The Academy of the 9" with Jean-Pierre Foucault) and with the radio (" The grosses têtes" of Philippe Bouvard on RTL and “Hello Jackie” on RMC) like in popular and comic plays such as " Chéri" of Colette with Michele Morgan in 1982, “do not listen, Mesdames Sacha Guitry with Pierre Dux and Micheline Boudet in 1985 or " The clan of the veuves" in 1992.

Mother of Michel Sardou, it records a duet with her son entitled “Mom” writes by Jean-Loup Dabadie (1982) and later an album of popular songs under the title " Jackie Sardou sings… " (1993). In 1987, it publishes a book of memories at Plon entitled “He, the small gross! ”.
