Jackie Lee Waukeen Cochran was born the February 5th 1941 with Dalton in Georgia, of Luther and Jean Elaine Cochran. His/her brother dies prematurely at the two years age. He passes his childhood to Meridian (the Mississippi) and to Gadsden (Alabama).
In 1955, at the 14 years age, it records for prestigious Big D Jamboree with Dallas where are present Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash. Its first title in 1956, Hip Shaking Mama , meets a small success of regard. In 1973 it records for the label of Ronny Weiser Rollin' Rock'n'roll , which starts again its career in Europe and America and, in 1985, Hydra Records takes again all its titles under the heading Jack The Cat . The same year, it records a LP in company of Johnny & The Roccos with 27 titles.
Undoubtedly it would have held us others surprised, but he dies the March 15th 1998, victim of a Heart attack at the 57 years age.
