Shortly after it meets the young person Ike Turner and integrates off its group The Kings Rhythm. They are recommended by BB King near Sam Phillips which has a studio of recording and go up in Memphis in March 1951. They record there four titles, of which Rocket 88 , inspired of the song Cadillac Boogie of Jimmy Liggins. Philips, which did not create Sun Records yet, sells the pieces at the recording company Chess. Those sung by Turner leave under the name of “Ike Turner & his Kings off Rhythm” and the two others are published under the name of “Jackie Brenston & his Delta Cats”. It continues its career of musician with Lowell Fulson, then again with Ike Turner and its group until 1962, and records a last piece, Want You To Rock Me , the following year. Then it will join The Shakers, a group of Saint Louis.
