Jackal (comics)

The Jackal is super-unpleasant created by Marvel Comics (Stan Lee and Steve Ditko), appeared for the first time in Amazing Spider-Man #129 (but in the #31 under its public identity).
It is a very important character of the saga known as Guerre of the Clones .
Origin
Miles Warren was a brilliant doctor in biochemistry working with the ESU of NYC.
Professor Miles Warren was very affected by the tragic death of his preferred coed Gwen Stacy. He showed Spider-Man to be responsible and sank in the madness and launched out in his work of human cloning.
He eliminated his research assistant who knew too much of it, improved his body genetically, by injecting the DNA of a jackal.
He tried to handle the Punisher to kill the Weaver, but Frank Castle was turned over against Warren.
He then worked on behalf of the Green Bouffon (true person in charge of died of Gwen Stacy and had like project of cloner Peter Parker, of which he knew the double identity. Its first clone escaped (Kaine). And it clona Gwen Stacy starting from a cell taken on the corpse.
Then it was apparently killed at the time of a combat with Spider-Man.
One of its clones continued its combat: Carrion. Another married a clone of Gwen Stacy.
The saga of the clones
20 years later, it reappeared.A clone of Parker, not knowing that the Jackal lived, took the name of Ben Reilly and left far from the town of New York. Years later, it returned downtown, and was combined with Spider-Man under the name of Scarlet Spider. The Jackal proclaimed that Parker was the clone. In the confrontation which followed, the Jackal was killed while falling from a building.
A little later Ben Reilly, rempaçant Parker in his costume of Spider-Man, was killed by the Green Bouffon. It fell in dust, showing that it was him the clone, and not Peter Parker.

Carrying to the whole beginning a simple disguise, Miles Warren improved his body genetically.
- It could raise between 900kg and 2 tons.
- Its agility and its speed were slightly increased.
- Its nails had transferred out of claws and its teeth in hooks.
- Warren was a genius in genetics, biochemistry and a pioneer in human cloning.
