Jack Lord
John Joseph Patrick Ryan (born the December 30th, 1920 with New York, New York; deceased the January 21st, 1998 with Honolulu, Hawaii of a cardiac affection), more known under the pseudonym Jack Lord , was an American actor. It measured 1,87m.
Its most known role was that very charismatic of Steve McGarrett in the series Hawaii organizes State of 1968 with 1980. It also turned to dimensioned Sean Connery in 1961, in the film James Bond 007 against Dr. No of Terence Young. However, in spite of very a good performance, its role was not renewed not to make shade with the actor high-speed motorboat.
In the years 1950, it follows the courses of the Actor' S Studio, at the sides of Paul Newman, Marlon Brando, or Marilyn Monroe. Jack Lord was also painter at his hours, several of its fabrics being exposed in museums of Hawaii.
Reached by the Disease of Alzheimer during its last years, it had the support of his wife Marie Lord, until his death. Together, they had created a foundation in favor of the natives hawaiiens. Marie Lord is itself died of natural causes the October 13rd 2005, with old 100 years.
