Jabiru

Jabiru is the vernacular name of three S of birds of the family of the ciconiidés :

• the Jabiru of Africa ( Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis )

• the Jabiru of America ( Jabiru mycteria )
• the Jabiru of Asia ( Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus )

Only the jabiru of America belongs to the kind Jabiru .
