Jaap van Zweden

Jaap van Zweden is a Violon ist and Leader Dutch, born with Amsterdam the December 12th 1960.

Biography

Jaap van Zweden begins its career of musician noticed like First violin of the royal Orchestre of Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, of 1979 with 1995. It is then Leader to the Netherlands, in Austria, Germany and with the Japan, and makes a round with the Orchestra of the Mozarteum of Salzburg and the Chamber orchestra of Israel.

Of 1996 with 2000, he is principal chief of the Symphony orchestra of the Netherlands, and made with this one a round in England and with the the United States.

In 2000, it takes the head of the Orchestre of the Residence of $the Hague, with which it occurs with the Japan, in South America, in England, Austria and Hungary. It is since honorary chief of this orchestra.

Since September 2005, Jaap van Zweden is principal chief and artistic director of the two orchestras of the Radio Dutchwoman.

During the season 2004/2005, it directs the National orchestra of Capitole of Toulouse, the Symphony orchestra of the Netherlands, the royal Orchestra of Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the philharmonic orchestras of Rotterdam, Munich and Tokyo.
