JUMP

JUMP is an application SIG modular developed in 2002 by the company Vivid Solutions following an invitation to tender of the ministry for the natural resources of Colombia-British.

JUMP allows the consultation and creation/modification of vectorial geographical data stored under various formats of which GML, ESRI shapefile. The application also allows the exploitation of services WMS.

The modular architecture of JUMP allowed the creation of many Plug-in S adding of the particular functionalities: checking of topology, request on the assignee part of the data, reading of formats raster, etc

This application is carried out in Java, which confers a portability to him on various platforms (Windows, Linux…).
