J. - H. elder Rosny is the pseudonym of Joseph Henri Honore Boex (February 17th 1856 - February 11th 1940), a Belgian writer of origin which is one of the great names founders of the modern Science-fiction. It belonged to the Académie Goncourt. Its name gave place at a literary prize, the Prix Rosny elder.
