Jérémie-Louis Décarie (Montreal, August 30th, 1870 in Quebec - Montreal, November 5th, 1927 in Quebec) is a lawyer and politician Québécois.
Biography
He is the son of Daniel-Jérémie Décarie, the son-in-law of Henri-Benjamin Rainville and the father-in-law of Jean Saint-Germain.He made his studies with the Collège of Montreal, the Collège Sainte-Marie of Montreal and with the Université Laval.
After its admission with the Bar of Quebec, in 1896, it practices the right in its birthplace. It founds its own cabinet in 1903 then it is elected Député of the Liberal party of Quebec in Hochelaga (1904 - 1912), then in Maisonneuve (1912 - 1919). He was Minister for Agriculture in 1909, then secretary of the province of 1909 to 1919 in the cabinet of Lomer Gouin.
He was named Juge as a chief of the Cour of the sessions of peace to Montreal of 1919 with 1927.
The boulevard Décarie bears the name of its family since 1912.
