Jéleznodorojny
Jéleznodorojny (in Russian: Железнодоро́жный) is a city of the Oblast of Moscow, in Russia. It is located at 21 km in the east of Moscow. Its population was of: 116500 in 2006.

The foundation of Jéleznodorojny dates from 1861 and the creation of the station of railroad of Obiralovka (Обира́ловка). The locality was made famous for Leon Tolstoï, since it is there that the principal character of its novel Anna Karénine died.
In 1938, it took the name of Jéleznodorojny and accepted the statute of city in 1952. In the Sixties, the localities of Koutchino (Ку́чино), Savvino (Са́ввино), Temnikovo (Те́мниково) and Sergueïevka (Серге́евка) were incorporated in Jéleznodorojny.
Koutchino is historically associated in the name of Andreï Biély, the Russian poet who lived there of 1925 with 1931.
