Izier (in Walloon Izire ) is a section of the Belgian city of Durbuy located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.
It was a common to whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.
Izier is a commune of the province of Luxembourg only since 1839. It formed part before that of the department of Ourthe. It was created under the French mode by the meeting of the localities of Fermine, Izier, Jéhonheid, Rochettes, Malbouté, Pont the Priest and Old Furnace.
In 1826, Jéhonheid is transferred to Ferrières in exchange from Ozo taken on Bomal.
