Izernore
Izernore is a common Frenchwoman, chief town of canton of the Ain.
The city is located at the extreme north of High Bugey between the Berthiand Mounts and Plastic Valley. One finds there an industrial activity important, with tens of factories of figures installed in the south of the agglomeration.
The commune profits from flourishing community life: more than one score of voluntary associations help the village to develop. Since 1990, the population more than doubled (967-> 2100 hab).
To visit: ruins of the Gallo-Roman temple, the museum of archeology.
