Iwami

is the municipality constituting the district of Iwami, in the extreme North-East of the Préfecture of Tottori and by the fact even of the Région of Chūgoku, in Japan.

Iwami has a famous Onsen locally, the onsen Yukamuri (also called onsen of Iwai).

At the academic level, there are three elementary schools (Minami, Nishi and Kita), a secondary school and a college (of the same name as the municipality). The station of Iwami is at 25 minutes of Tottori, that is to say the third stop on the Tottori-Hamasaka line in direction is.
