Chemist at the time of the Revolution, it created the first detergent " moderne" by extracting soda from sea salt.

Felix Millet, born in 1844 deposited the first patent of a rotary star thermal engine with 5 cylinders.

It incorporated this engine in the aft wheel of a bicycle, thus inventing the first motor cycle . This type of engine equipped then the planes.
