Ivan Vinogradov
Ivan Matveievitch Vinogradov (in Russian ИванМатвеевичВиноградов) (1891 - 1983) was a Mathématicien and a Russian academician (Soviet). It obtained twice the price of the Héros of Work (in 1945 and 1971).
He is academician starting from 1929. Vinogradov is the first director of the Institut of mathematics Steklov in 1934. It also published Matematicheskaya entsiklopediya in 1977.
Having constituted a traditional method of trigonometrical Summation, it obtained fundamental results and solved many problems in the analytical Théorie of the numbers.
In 1971, it obtains the Prix Lomonosov and the Médaille Lomonosov in 1970.
