Ivan Theimer
Ivan Theimer is a painter and Sculpteur Czech, born in 1944 with Olomouc in Moravie. He emigrated in France in 1968 and lives in Paris.
One owes him in particular:
- the monument of the Human rights, commemorative of the bicentenary of the Revolution, installed to the Champ de Mars, in Paris, in 1989.
- sculpture of two tortoises and of an obelisk, installed on the place of the Victoire at Bordeaux, in June 2005.
- the Fountain of Arion, which is in its birthplace.
- scenography for Don Giovanni of W.A. Mozart to the opera of Gothenburg in 2003 whose engineering drawings are published in the review of art HOLE No 16 in 2006, up to that point news (more under www.trou.ch)
