Ivan Loutsévitch
Ivan Loutsévitch (ІванДамінікавічЛуцэвіч, 1882 - 1942) had as a pseudonym Yanka Koupala and is regarded as the founder of the literary language Belorusse.
He composes the essence of his work between 1913 and 1922. If he escapes the purgings which roll the literary and intellectual world of Bielorussia at the end of the the Thirties, he falls of the top of a building of the downtown area of Moscow in 1942 and, to date, the fact of knowing if he committed suicide or if he were eliminated clearly were still not established.
Its house was set fire to by the fascists during the war. One finds a park as well as a statue of 7 meters which represents it at this place in the capital, Minsk.
