Ivan Langer
Ivan Langer is a Czech politician born on January 1st, 1967 with Olomouc. After having studied medicine at the university Jan Palacký of Olomouc, it is graduate in right of the same university in 1998.Il adheres to the civic democratic party (the greatest Czech line party) in 1991. To advise of the Minister for the Justice of 1993 to 1996, it is elected in 1994 at the municipal council of Olomouc, and is elected in 1996 with the Czech House of Commons, of which it will be one of the vice-presidents of 1998 to 2006.
Vice-president of the civic democratic party, Ivan Langer was two years Ombudsman there Interior. After its re-election with the House of Commons in June 2006, it was appointed function, Minister of Interior Department which it occupies today within the government of Mirek Topolanek. One regards Ivan Langer as a close relation of the president Václav Klaus.
Ivan Langer is in addition president of the CEVRO, a Think tank of liberal orientation which reflects in particular on the European questions.
Ivan Langer is married and father of two children.
