Ivan Ivanovitch Khemnitser
Ivan Ivanovitch Khemnitser or Ivan Ivanovich Chemnicer , born with Saint-Pétersbourg in 1744, died in Smyrna in 1784, Russian writer.
He served in the imperial guard and cultivated at the same time the letters. The best edition of its fables is appeared with Saint-Pétersbourg in 1799 ; they were translated by Hippolyte Masclet, Moscow, 1830.
