Ivan Gotti
Ivan Gotti , born on March 28th, 1969 with San Pellegrino in Italy, is an old runner Italian cyclist.
He is with Marco Pantani one of the most famous Italian racing cyclists of the end of last century.
He becomes professional in 1991 with the Château team of Ax. He highlights himself in 1995, at the time of the Tour de France, gaining a stage and carrying two days of continuation the yellow jersey. He finishes at the conclusion of this turn fifth general classification. Ivan is not very thick but it is athletic and leaping, three characteristics which make of it a climbing good but a poor wheeler of against the watch.
After having finished fifth of the Turn of Italy 1996, it gains this famous race with stages in 1997. This Giro is exciting: the Russian Pavel Tonkov and the Italian clash in a duel epic. In 1999, Gotti is second of Giro behind the pirate Marco Pantani, but this last is put except race at before day before of the arrival and Gotti gains its second Tour of Italy.
