Itapoá

Itapoá is a city Brésil ienne north of the State of Santa Catarina. It is located by a Latitude of 26º 07 ' 01" south and by a Longitude of 48º 36 ' 58" west, with a Altitude of 18 meters. Its population was estimated at 12.410 inhabitants in 2006. The municipality extends on 256 km ².

General information

A movement exists which requires the fastening of the municipality of the State of the Paraná, being based on a lack of attention supposed of government of the State of Santa Catarina. The municipality counts more than 32 km of Plage S, among which the Praia de Itapema C Norte , the Praia de Itapoá or the Praia C Pontal da Figueira . One also finds there several Sambaqui S, expressions of an indigenous presence.
