Italy of the values

The Italia dei Valori (in Italian, Italy of the Values) is a Political party Italy N founded with Rome in 2000 by Antonio Di Pietro, old a Magistrat of Mani Pulite.

Its body is entitled Orizzonti Nuovi ( Nouveaux Horizons ).

To the European and regional elections of 2004, this party arised with the symbol Lista Di Pietro - Italia dei Valori : it obtained 694.963 votes, with 2,1% of the voices, the election of Antonio Di Pietro like European Député and that of its ally, old a Communiste, Achille Occhetto - this last immediately resigned to leave the place to a former member of the Italian Communist party, Chiesa.

It belongs to the European liberal family, since officially the September 28th 2000 (congress of the European Parti the reforming liberals, democrats and (ELDR) of Tenerife) - its two European deputies are registered in group ALDE.

This party is one of the seven allied parties of the Union since February 2005.

Political elections of 2006

With the elections of 2006, the IDV obtains 2.3% of the voices to the Room and 16 deputies. With the senatorial elections, it obtains 2.9% of the voices and 4 senators.

Electoral symbol

Description: a line of circumference blue Europe with, inside the circle, in field half supréieure, on bottom azure decreasing from top to bottom, stylized silhouette of a goëland in quadrichromy with the colors, from left to right, red, yellow, verd, blue dark sky-blue (this last of cleared up with intense). In the median part of the circle, on the left, mention “ITALIA” and on the line, in the line below, mention “VALORI”, both written in blue capital letters and the last mention preceded by the mention “dei” (of) in tiny italic, always blue Europe, with the point on I in red. In the lower part of the circle, wholesale characters, the mention “DiPIETRO” in black, capital and Italic letters, with the point on the first I in red and with this last letter smaller than the others.
